Northwood Park Units
Northwood Individual Units are purposely built for residents who want to be as independent as possible. If a resident develops care needs that are not available in the Parks – Ashleigh House will assist in moving the resident into the next level of care. Ashleigh House Ltd does not provide personal care services to the residents of Eastwood and Northwood Park. Should a resident require assistance with daily living needs, then the resident needs to their doctor about a referral to an appropriate support agency.
If it is determined that a resident should relocate from their unit to more supportive care facility (whether it be Ashleigh House or another aged care organisation) the team at Ashleigh House will assist with that need. However, as the demand for aged care accommodation is very high, it is not possible to guarantee a bed will be available immediately.
For those residents who would like the reassurance of access to emergency assistance at any time of the day or night, there are various emergency call services available. Activities offered at Ashleigh House
The Ashleigh House Activities Room is available for all Village residents to use. The room is currently used for playing carpet bowls and holding events, entertainment, and meetings. Bookings can be made through Ashleigh House reception.
Ingoing Option
Construction on Northwood Park commenced in the 1980’s and it now consists of 36 individual units. One off administration charge This is a once off fee of $250 payable upon the signing of your contract to occupy a unit. Once off Ingoing Fee to a unit
This is the fee charged to purchase the license to occupy your unit. The current ingoing fees are as follows:
- One Bedroom: $85,000
- Two Bedroom: $165,000
- Three Bedroom: $295,000
As units become available, they are available on a lump sum ten-year contract or a shorter-term rental option.

- One Bedroom: $228 per week
- One Bedroom with Sunroom: $230 per week
- Two Bedroom: $269 per week
- Three Bedroom: $331 per week
Meals on Wheels
fresh and Delivered at your door
Residents of the Independent Living Units are able to purchase ‘Meals on Wheels’ from our kitchen. The menu is developed by the Head Cook in conjunction with our Dietician. This is to ensure that the meals meet adequate nutritional requirements. Residents are able to select what days and meals that they would like to receive; you can also elect to have your meals delivered or eat at the Ashleigh House dining room.
The meals are cooked daily with fresh ingredients and are delivered hot and plated. Residents may choose to receive a main meal and dessert, or soup and sandwiches, or both.
Meals are delivered to the units from 11.30am daily and plates are collected the next day. If ‘eating in’ at Ashleigh House the midday meals is served at 12pm. Cancellation of any meals need to be ring through to the office by 9.30am. The cost is $12.00 for a full meal or $9.00 for a part meal (main and dessert or soup and sandwiches).
















Maintenance
We do it all for you!
The Independent Living Units combine freedom of lifestyle with worry free maintenance of dwelling and lawns – gardening can be a selected activity if one chooses. There are activities for active retired people to enjoy within the community of Ashleigh House. Residents are encouraged to continue with all activities they enjoyed prior to moving into the Independent Living Units.
Ashleigh House maintenance covers all rates, insurance of buildings, maintenance of common areas including lawn mowing, all external maintenance to your unit, and the following internal maintenance:
Ashleigh House will maintain the following appliances:
- Heater(s) and air conditioner(s) that were installed in the unit at the time of occupancy.
- Oven and cook on top
- Hot Water Service
- Toilet cistern and pan
